The House & Barn

Enjoy an unforgettable and relaxing holiday whether a short break or a week, at The House in the Hills; escape and come to stay in this fabulous and chic stone farmhouse with its barn conversion, set in the most amazing remote and secluded spot in the Black Mountains with Hay Bluff rising dramatically up behind.

This is a perfect location for walking straight from the door, accessing local mountain bike routes, a huge number of outdoor activities, as well as being just five miles from Hay-on-Wye, "Town of Books."

The house and the barn booked together easily accommodate ten people in luxury. Both properties enjoy stunning, panoramic views, one way to appreciate the view is from the HOT TUB on the terrace.

There is the main farmhouse with two lovely king-size bedrooms and one double bedroom sleeping six and a self-contained barn with a further two king-size bedrooms, sleeping four just across the courtyard. Both the house and Barn have spacious kitchens with all modern cooking facilities, large dining rooms to entertain in the evenings and TVs with cinema surround. The bathrooms boast large walk in showers with jacuzzi jets and roll top baths, pure indulgence.

Depending on the time of year, you can snuggle up by the roaring fire or get the BBQ going for Al fresco dining on the sun terrace.

Last but not least and what a treat, why not have a hot tub under the stars and soak up the magnificent views.

Two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (terms & conditions apply)
